3D Periodic Table...
as the Elements Occur in Nature

Do you know about the 3D Periodic Table? If not, look now....
learn about the 3D periodic table

Advanced

Do you know about the 3D periodic table for
students, teachers, parents, chemists and biologists?

The Periodic Table in 3D is the newest way to display the natures chemicals. It is a must to own this amazing breakthrough design in order to understand the natural connection between the elements.

Testimonial

I like the 3D Periodic Table a lot. It helps me visualize mentally the periodic table a whole lot better (I'm a 3D kind of person) because I can hold it, smell it, taste it, and look at it from various angles. Also, it looks great on my desk, right next to the bust of Abraham Lincoln (I'm a Lincoln kind of a person).

I'm very happy with the table and thanks for delivering it to me!

It is the best quick reference and periodic table teaching tool around.
This makes a unique, inexpensive gift.

In the U.S. the state of South Carolina has a school for chemistry honor students. High school seniors are given a one year scholarship. At their annual awards luncheon the DeskToppers® was used as a center piece and was donated to the school after the luncheon. The students put the 3D periodic tables together for the luncheon! How very clever.

Students participate in putting together, organizing and color coding the model. They are able to see the elements contiguously and continuously according to the atomic number without disturbing the accepted group and property interrelationships previously found in the periodic chart.

Image of Periodic Table Do you know about the 3D periodic table for students, teachers, parents, chemists and biologists? These unique periodic tables have appeared on the cover of a Discovery Channel video, pictured in the obituaries of newspapers and Time magazine with the late Dr. Glenn Seaborg as his favorite periodic table, and the Guinness World Records 2000.

This arrangement of the periodic table gives easy to understand information about the elements while retaining all the positive features of the flat table.

It removes all disturbing discontinuities and displacements in the order of the elements. Look at a standard table. The number sequence is broken at the left and right of every single line, plus, the rare earth elements are remotely located.

A number of problems with equating the periodic table with the periodic law have been resolved by the recognition that relationships between elements are more clearly and accurately shown in a three-dimensional representation.

This modern periodic table, developed by Roy Alexander, patented, and originally published in 1996, is called the Alexander Arrangement of the Elements (AAE).

Printed as a flat sheet, it can easily be assembled into a free-standing 3D model of the Periodic Table. All printed element data have a common plane so the elements can be traced by their electron numbers without changing direction or leaving the surface.

The successive period connections are achieved by a downward helix in the first of the three component loops. What does this mean? The 3D design of the periodic table are similar to an escalator in a store that takes you from floor to floor. The design takes you from one horizontal 'floor' of the elements to the next when making a circular loop.
