Super Science Fair Projects.com has been on the web since October, 2003 and the ezine since September, 2004. I want to thank each and every one of you for reading the Science Fair Enthusiasts eZine, entering the contests, and using the website.

  1. What we have accomplished this year that will make it easier for you to use the site: Over 500 more free science fair projects and ideas have been added to the site, including 4-new science fair project ideas for the popular
  2. PicoTurbine Windmill. That brings the total to about 1,000.

  3. Every question that you have asked as been answered in the Blog and each person was sent a private email with the link to where they could see the answer

  4. A search window has been added to every informational page

  5. 2- science gift pages have been added. Each description tells you the age range for the science kit and whether or not it is appropriate to use for a science fair project.

  6. New excellent science fair kits have been added to the site for students and classrooms.

  7. 98% of the science kits have been discounted considerably to help compensate for the increase in postage.

REALLY COOL FACTS ABOUT THE MOON

  1. Did you know there really isn't a dark side of the moon? The sun shines on both sides of the moon, but the same side always faces Earth.

  2. Did you ever hear the expression, "The man in the moon"? Well, it is made up of dark plains or maria, and light highlands. The Chinese preceive it as a toad while other cultures see it as a rabbit.

  3. Created by meteor impacts, the moon's largest basins are 100s of miles across.

  4. The moon really doesn't orbit the earth. They actually circle each other. Both Earth and the moon orbit around the center of a mass of the combined Earth-moon system which is 1,802 miles away from the center of the Earth.

  5. The manned Apollo missions, between 1969 and 1972 brought back to Earth about 842lbs of rock samples from the moon.

  6. After examining rocks from the moon, scientists found out that they are 40% oxygen. That is why they think one day the moon will be able to sustain human colonies.

  7. To see the American flag on dthe moon, the Hubble Space Telescope's mirror would have to be about 650 feet in diameter!
