I. So... Whose Science Fair Project Is It?

As I receive e-ons of email every day I wonder why I am being sent questions such as:
Will you send me a science fair project?
What is a good science fair project that I can do?
Do you know of an easy science fair project ?

If you are not one of the students that has emailed me, maybe you know of students who are constantly asking you, their teacher or parent to give them a science fair project. If you do, I encourage you to forward this newsletter to them.

To come up with an idea and create a science fair project is the work of the STUDENT!

What for? Because thinking of a project and following a project through to completion, is a metaphor for your life. It's is what much of your life is all about. Baking a cake, learning to ride a bicycle, getting your first job, doing a homework assignment, cutting the grass... every action you take is a mini project that you think of doing and then put into action. ACTION is what produces results.

OK, so sometimes it's your parent's idea.

And, if you read the site page by page you will come across over 1,000 FREE science fair ideas.

The best way to create a science fair project is to go step-by-step. Begin on the home page, read the page, then click on the link at the bottom of the page. That will take you to the next step. Continue this process and you will be walked through all the steps of doing a science fair project. OR you can visit the site-map page and the steps are numbered in sequential order with a link and description of each step.

OK, so you say that you do not like doing science fair projects. I understand. You can't like every subject or assignment. BUT, you MUST do a science fair project in order to pass your science course. Click on the menu where it says, "Science Fair Projects." Then choose the subject that is of interest to you. You will find science fair kits that you can purchase. Most of them have experiments that you can do for your science fair project. (please remember, you must be 18 yrs or older to use a credit card online).

The most popular science kit is the fuel cell car kit. It has 19 experiments designed for science fair experiments. For those that are science fair enthusiasts, you can make up your own experiment with this kit.

Now... has that of help to you? If not, send us an email at info@super-science-fair-projects.com and we will address your questions in the next newsletter.

III. From NASA

A stream of interstellar helium atoms almost as hot as the surface of the Sun is blowing through the solar system.

The Full Story http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2004/27sep_shieldsup.htm?list1001201

If you've ever watched Star Trek, you know the importance of shields. When a star explodes or a Klingon death ray lances out of the darkness, the captain yells two words, "Shields up!", and all is well. Deflector shields: Don't leave home without one.

The solar system, believe it or not, has got one.

On this site you can listen to a NASA scientist, download the information, and ask for help. Look at the awesome photos!
