I. NEW Wind Energy Science Fair Projects

With the PicoTurbine Windmill you will build a fully functioning, electricity-producing scale model of a wind turbine. Then you can do great energy science fair projects and experience the power of wind. You can build the windmill within a couple of hours and start your science fair experiment!

Experiments: Test different wind turbine blade configurations, various generator components, the effects of changing wind speeds, or other experiments limited only by the imagination. A simple digital voltmeter (information on the web site) can be used to take measurements of electric output and a PC spreadsheet program can be used to produce charts and graphs of the results, resulting in a great presentation.

The PicoTurbine ships within the U.S. and Canada. PicoTurbine DC Experiments Kit
An add-on kit to the PicoTurbine Educational Windmill Kit.

II. NEW Next Month
I just received an email asking me to "put cool facts about science-related stuff. And it can just be random facts, like something about atoms, or catalysts, or the human body."

So, next month we will add a new section to Science Fair Enthusiasts.

The Best to You,
Madeline / alias Detective ThinkMore

See you next month when we announce the winners of the 2007 Science Fair Contest!
