2. Set up the tank including conditioning the water.

3. Water sat for 2 days before putting in the fish.

4. Bought 2 fish

5. Let the bag of water and fish sit inside the water of the tank for 10 minutes.

6. Let the fish out of the bag into the tank.

7. Watched a DVD on how to train a fish. See details of R2 Fish School for fish science fair projects.

8. Found out that we only could have one fish in the tank otherwise the fish being trained would be distracted. Removed one fish and put it in another tank.

To Train the Fish, Ellie, a Calico Goldfish.

2. Put the feeding wand in the water and waited for Ellie to come to the wand. The 1st day she did not.

3. Day 2: Ellie came to the feeding wand and ate the food 3 times.

Put the hoop in the water (it is attached to a stand). Put the feeding wand through the hoop. Ellie ate from the wand.

Put the hoop near the entrance of the hoop. Ellie ate from the wand and went through the hoop. Then she refused to look at the wand so my grandmother gently shook the wand. Ellie did not move and refused to do any more tricks for 5 more days.

She refused to do it again. So I waited an hour and then put the wand through the hoop. She feed from the feeding wand.

Then I put the feeding wand on the other side of the hoop. She went through the hoop, ate the food from the feeding wand. I did this 5 more times with Ellie and each time she went through the hoop.
