Astronomy science experiments for young scientists...
Heat is another physical characteristic that impacts objects in astrophysics based science fair projects. In space, super hot temperatures and super cold temperatures are the norm. When developing your hypothesis you will want to focus on one of these extremities. For example you can hypothesize how close a space craft can get to a star before incinerating. You can then use your results to come up with ways to get a space craft closer. Light is the third topic your astronomy for kids projects can look at. For example, you can create an experiment that looks at how light travels through space, or that looks at how light is created in space. You can also experiment with light to determine how bright star is, how big it is or how far it is from the Earth. Another great astrophysics topic that you can experiment with is the concept of the vacuum. Since space is a vacuum there is no resistance to slow objects down. Create an experiment that determines how this unique property can applied to space travel. Also look at how gravitational pulls of objects in space can also be utilized to aid space travel. The final topic that you can work with is momentum. In your space experiments try to find ways that momentum can be created in space through artificial and natural methods. How can these methods be used to (1) improve the efficiency of space travel and/or (2) protect earth from large asteroids and foreign bodies. These totally cool science fair projects will stand out from the others produced by your competition. Copyright © 2003 - 2010 Super Science Fair Projects - All Rights Reserved.
