Chemistry science experiments that will lighten things up...
Flashlight battery science fair projects can shed light on a lot of different science concepts. From electrical circuits to chemical reactions, these projects are great. If you are looking for a topic for your science fair project then consider flashlight battery projects. To get you started, here are a few different project ideas. Electrical circuit experiments are the first option that you have when it comes to flashlight-battery-science-fair-proejcts. Electrical circuit experiments can be simple or complex, they can look at normal circuit layouts for flashlights or you can develop a more effective circuit. Another option that you have when working with flashlight battery science fair projects is to experiment with how long the batteries last. For example, you can create a hypothesis that compares the length of the battery life from a flashlight that uses a series of three D batteries to a flashlight that uses a 9 volt battery. When developing your hypothesis you will need to guess which battery layout will last the longest, such as "a series of three D flashlight batteries will keep the light bulb lit longer than a flashlight bulb powered by a 9 volt battery. Since batteries operate because of a chemical reaction, you also have the option of creating chemistry science fair projects. One example project is to try and create a flashlight battery using a lemon, a copper rod and a steel rod. The hypothesis for this experiment will simply be that a lemon battery can be used to power a small flashlight. If you are looking for the quickest science fair projects around, then consider comparing if bigger flashlight batteries last longer than smaller flashlight batteries. The hypothesis for this experiment will be that the larger the battery is the longer it will power a flashlight battery. The independent variable will be the size of the battery and the dependent variable will be the amount of time that the flashlight bulb stays lit. The final project idea that you can use for flashlight battery science fair projects is the underwater flashlight experiment. In this experiment you will want to examine what design modifications are required to make a flashlight battery work underwater. If you use this project idea make sure you take every precaution required to prevent being shocked. For example, stand on a rubber mat and don't operate a non-waterproof flashlight under water.
