The first step in creating a winning display for your kids high school science fair experiments - chromatography - is to create a list of all the components that your display board will need. You will need to create a list of the graphics you will need, models you will need and text blocks.

The second step in creating a winning display for your kids high school science fair experiments - chromatography - is to outline your text blocks. Your text blocks need to summarize each step of your project. You will need the following blocks: (1) Introduction that includes your hypothesis, (2) a materials list, (3) a description on your experiment, (4) an explanation of your data and (5) your conclusions.

The next step you will need to take when designing your display board for your chemistry science fair projects is to determine what graphics your display will need. Some of the graphics that you will need to create for your display board include: (1) a picture of your materials, (2) a graphic of your experiment's set up and (3) graphics that illustrate each step of your experiment. You will also want to include graphs and charts of the data that you collected.

Step four is to create a mock-up of your safe science fair project's display board. During this activity you will layout all of your visual elements on your display board but you will not glue them down. You can move the pieces around until you find a display design that looks great. Now step back and make sure your display flows smoothly form step to step. Once you are happy with your display securely glue down your visual elements using a glue stick.

The final step is to clean up your display board. First of all allow your board to completely dry while it is lying flat on the floor. Then sit your board up and step back. Look for edges that need to be reglued and fix those problems. Then take a rubber artist's eraser and make sure all stray pencil marks are erased, as well as erase all smudges and smears. Now cover your display with a sheet or plastic bag to prevent fingerprints, smears and other tarnishments from damaging your display.
