Project Title

Determining the Most Efficient Pattern in Robot Area Coverage

Purpose

The purpose of this experiment is to see which pattern allows the robot to cover an area most efficiently. It was hypothesized that there would be no difference in the codes tested.

Procedure

Build the arena and define starting points. Build a bumper for your Boe-Bot. Write the programs and test them with the Boe-Bot on all three starting points.

Conclusion

The researcher rejected the hypothesis because of the results. It was shown that the more basic programs (going straight then left or right) covered the most area.
