Conclusion: ADVANTAGES OF E-COOLER

  • Controls humidity and brings it to the level of thermal comfort.

  • Bentonite clay absorbs toxins and dust particles.

  • Use of biodegradable material for the structure instead of metal.

  • Reduction in noise.

  • Cost effective.

  • Easy to install and use.

    • As i have come to the end of this innovative journey we must say that we have emerged not only with a innovative bent of mind, but it has also made us realize that the world will be a far better place if we learn to live in harmony with nature.

    We have modified the desert cooler into our e-cooler, which is made up of biodegradable materials except for the fan and pump. The problem of corrosion of metal will also be very well addressed over here. The making of e-cooler is a very safe and non-hazardous method, does not require any skilled labour and it can provide employment to the teeming millions of unemployed people who are below the poverty line. So, i believe in letting the world emerge as an environmental super power along with being an economic giant.


    Nexttime: FUTURE OF THE E-COOLER

      * Earthen pot- During the last days of the experiment, we got an idea that we could replace the plastic tub used by us, which served the purpose of the tank of the cooler by an earthen pot. This could help to make the cooler more eco-friendly and could also help in increasing the rate of evaporation of the water making the air cooler.

      * Double Layer of Khas Khas padding- Normally single khus khus padding is attached to the sides of the desert cooler, but, we can use another set of pads, at a certain distance from the previous one. This would increase the surface area for evaporation of water and lead to a better cooling effect.

      * Introduction of E.Q.- E.Q. (Environmental Quotient ) can be introduced in the schools under which students who contribute to the environment would be awarded points which can later help in their admission for higher studies. This would help in generating a feeling of environmental sensitivity amongst the future global citizens.
