Global warming is a topic that is important to everyone on the planet including students. This year, as you develop your science fair entry, consider creating global warming school science fair projects. These projects are going to be easier to research, as there is a myriad of resources produced and distributed by scientists and the government, and there are also a larger selection of special awards offered to the best science fair projects to do with global warming. Global warming school science fair projects can utilize various types of project formats. Observational science projects are a great option for this genre of science fair projects. Students working with observational science fair projects will look at past research and data, as well as collect their own data. They will then examine and analyze their data to explain, prove or disprove their hypothesis. Some of the data collections that observational experiments can focus on include temperature changes in specific regions, glacier size changes over time and water level changes over time. If you are an elementary school student in the 4th, 5th or 6th grade, then you have a lot of great easy experiments related to global warming to choose from. For example you can develop an experiment that examines the relationship between CO2 levels and plant growth, or that explains how plants impact CO2 levels in a sealed environment. When developing your projects you will want to focus on the design and presentation of your information. If you are a middle school student in the 7th, 8th or 9th grade, then your global warming school science fair projects can be a little more intricate. You can look at CO2 levels, greenhouse gases or you can work with alternative fuels. Some of the experiments that you can perform include: examining how CO2 levels impact how temperate dissipates in the air, you can build a hydrogen powered vehicle or you can examine how global warming and diatoms interact with one another. If you happen to be in high school, then the science fair judges are going to be expecting a lot from your projects. Not only do you need a superior project design, but you will also need to make sure your topic is well developed, that your presentation is outstanding and that you have the research to backup your conclusions. Some of the projects that you can work with include: experiments that explore how global warming is impacting your local climate, experiments that compare CO2 levels in common things like breathe, school yards and car exhaust, and you can also examine how global warming is impacting soil microbes. Global warming science fair projects are hot right now. Finally, use 24 hour science fair projects to develop your main project idea and design.
