Fun and easy engineering science fair projects take students out of the classroom and put them on the track to a great career. Engineering projects are fun because they involve creativity, imagination and hands-on experimentation. Some of the engineering science experiment topics that students can work with include: bridges, dams, rockets and electrical circuits.

Many students who work with fun and easy engineering science fair projects start out with bridges. Bridges are fun because they involve geometry, construction and a little trial and error. Student's project can focus on designing a model bridge that can withstand 50+ pounds, or even designing a bridge using innovative materials.

Rockets can also be fun and easy engineering science fair projects. Rocket experiments can focus on the design of a rocket, or the development of a propulsion system. Students can also work with rocket tracking technology as part of their experiment.

Robotics is the third topic that fun and easy engineering science fair projects can have. Robotics experiments can focus on optical response robotics, sound commands and interactive robotics technology. Electric circuitry experiments can also be implemented into robotics experiments.

The fourth option that you have for your engineering science experiments is dam design and construction. Students can get ideas for their dam projects by first studying existing dam designs. Field trips to a local dam can be a great way to inspire kids to develop a dam design science fair project. Some of the projects that they can do include: evaluating how the shape of a dam influences its strength, designing their own dam and evaluating various materials for dam construction.

Fun and easy engineering science fair projects need to start with research. The research can be used to help you find topics for your science fair projects and to design your engineering based science fair projects.
