Read increasingly complex literature such as magazines which include research. Take notes and outline text and speeches. Participate effectively in classroom and group discussions. Because thirteen year old kids are concerned with physical attractiveness to others, a science fair project on dating or laws of attraction would be great subjects.Music becoming a major preoccupation, so science fair projects on math and music are also interesting to this age child.
