What can the Kabuto Mushi Robot do once you build it? Well, with its caterpillar traction you will be able to climb small inclines as you maneuver your vehicle with the infrared remote controlled.

You have a lot of action with the infrared remote control handset. It has 8 channels, each channel controls 4-motors; 2-motors control the directional movement - backward, forward, right and left; the 1st motor regulates the elevating position of the claw; the 4th motor operates the open and close action of the claw.

As its Japanese name implies, Kabuto Mushi, is durable, powerful and tough. It has an attitude! Easy to build, the Rhinoceros Beetle kit provides kids, educators, and hobbyists who may have little to no experience, an educational building experience.

In the real world, similar robots are used rescue operations. Robots are useful tools to the humans, especially rescuers. They are able to go where people cannot and provide important information such as images at disaster areas, earthquakes, and gathering data for the mobile tactical bomb squad.
