To start with you will need to come up with a hypothesis for your YouTube science fair experiments. When you have completed all of your background work your next step is to set up your video equipment. You will most likely need a friend or family member to help you film your experiment. However, if you are doing this alone you can set up your camera on a tripod and use the camera's remote control to turn the record feature on and off. To make sure your experiment will film well, make sure you light up your set before you start filming.

After you complete your experiments you will need to edit down the video to about three minutes. This will make it easier to upload to the YouTube site and it will make it a more attractive video clip for people to watch.
