Science Fair Projects with a Turbo 3000 Car Kit Makaylia 4th Grade - Age 9 Florida, USA This project has been submitted to the Online Science Fair Contest, 2007, hosted by Super Science Fair Projects. QUESTION: I am trying to find out if the Turbo 3000 car will run with the ball while the car is moving and the light is working. MATERIALS NEEDED: Turbo 3000 Car kitPREDICTION: 1. The styrofoam ball will float while the car is moving. HYPOTHESIS: If I use all the materials to build the Turbo 3000 car correctly, then it should roll with the ball while the light is on. PROCEDURES: 1. Inventory count: 5 minutes RESULTS: When I turned on the switch, the Turbo 3000 moved across the table. The ball floated while the car was moving. The light also turned on as it was supposed to. CONCLUSION: My hypothesis was correct, because I used all the materials correctly and followed the directions. When I put the car together and turned the switch on, it moved across the table while the ball floated and the light turned on.
