The Elenco Snap Circuits are excellent for doing science fair projects with electronics and electricity. It provides a vehicle to do safe experiments without having to be concerned about electrical current. Introduces basic components and circuits such as batteries, wires, switches, lamps, series and parallel circuits, short circuits, solder, and schmatics.
You will experiment and learn how electricity and magnetism are used in motors and generators, about electricity that runs your homes and about lighting which includes motors, motor circuits, fuses, static electricity, types of lamps.
Learn how resistors are used to limit and control the flow of electricity. Experiment with circuits and introduction to digital electonics: LEDs, resistors in series and parallel, resistance, adujustable resistor, photoresistor and resistance of water.
Much more with capacitors, transitors, motor as a generator, oscillators and electronic sound, the whistle chip, and integrated circuits.
Plus you get to do all the experiments from the SC-100R.
