What are the stiffer requirements that 10th grade students must meet when doing a science fair project?

10th grade science projects are expected to be more advanced and more complete than projects completed by kids in lower grades. As a tenth grader, or a tenth grade science teacher, you need to explore topics that are relevant to your age group and that are relevant to current events. Fortunately, this is a fantastic era for discoveries in science, because there is such a strong need for new science and technologies to be developed. As just mentioned, tenth grade science projects generally need to be focused on a topic that is presented or explored during your Sophomore year of high school. This year in science is exciting. You have moved beyond basic science and you are now exploring more advanced and interesting concepts. Some of the topics that are examined during science classes include: the classification system, genetics, heredity, behavior, cells, energy, ecosystems, environmental issues and the scientific method.
