Science experiments and projects that can be completed by students in a weekend...
Are you looking for a great list - children's scientific method experiments? If the answer is yes then you are in luck. Below you will find five lists of science experiments and projects that kids in grades K-12 can complete in about a weekend. The topics that will be science genres that will be covered include biochemostry, biology, engineering, food and zoology. Have fun! Biochemistry is an interesting topic to explore on a list - children's scientific method experiments. These experiments will look at the chemical reactions and the chemistry realated to life processes. Example projects include: experimenting with the pH levels of biological tissues, looking at how enzymes impact metabolism and exploring how drugs affect the body's chemistry. Biology is another interesting topic that is commonly found on a list - children's scientific method experiments. Experiments that explore biology topics are fun and interesting, and they are appropriate for students of all ages. Example projects include: the bean/pea germination race, photosynthesis and light sources experiment and growing a plant in the dark experiment. Homeschool science store catalogues can be a great resource for finding a list of possible experiments. These lists will usually include basic experiments that students normally do in their classrooms. While these projects won't help you to win a science fair, they can be a great jumping off point for engineering and other types of science fair projects. Food experiments are a lot of fun for students to complete. Some of these projects are going to be edible, such as experiments that try to create fluffier cakes using different types of leavening agents. However, they can also be inedible, such as food chemistry chemical reaction projects that look at the chemical reactions that can be created by mixing cooking ingredients together. When working with food experiments, make sure you don't eat your project unless (1) it is edible and (2) you have already received your grade or award. Zoology science fair projects are usually found on top science fair projects lists. These experiments usually involve easy to manage animals like mice or single celled organisms, or they involve pets, like cats and dogs. Sample experiments include: sound experiments, movement experiments and behavior experiments. These experiments can be a lot of fun, however, you will need to follow a special set of rules that have been developed for safe and humane animal experimentation.
