November is officially here and it is a great time of year to come up with ideas for your science fair projects. Fall is an interesting time to conduct earth science and biology science fair projects, as well as behavior projects. This week’s blog is going to focus on ideas for fall themed science fair project hypotheses. Feel free to use these ideas to help you come up with your own award winning science fair project.

Developing a Fall Themed Science Project Hypothesis
When you develop your fall themed science project hypothesis it is important that you focus the hypothesis on a specific question. Try to focus it enough so that only one experiment will be required to test your hypothesis. For more ideas on science fair projects I recommend Science Base. Use the information from this blog to come up with new ideas and projects.

Hi
Some of the most commonly searched terms on my site relate to how germs are spread through coughs and sneezes, but I guess that’s a little impractical as a science project. However, another is getting the hard-boiled egg into a bottle, that’s a perennial favorite, as too is explaining what happens to the boiling point and freezing point of water (any solvent) when one adds a solute (such as table salt or sugar) and what effect that has on cooking times and slippery winter roads.

Dave, there actually is a sneezes science fair project called, UNDERCOVER SNEEZE. It investigates whether covering your mouth or not will prevent the spread of germs.
