Madeline, I forgot to ask this question earlier. My daughter noticed that the whirl-pak bags did not have T-salt tablets in them. The identical ones we used last year supplied by the local utility had tablets. I know it’s for de-chlorination purposes to preserve bacteria in the water samples. Just need your feedback on this.
Thanks.

Answer from Scientist: The tablets are not necessary. They are used by professionals to neutralize the chlorine in some drinking water that could kill bacteria if the bacteria are left in the bags for lengthy periods of
time.
