Register for the ExploraVision Competition Now

The ExploraVision competition is a scholarship Olympiad that focuses on the development of future technologies. This competition is open to kids from Kindergarten all the way through the 12th grade. The best part about this science competition is that it offers high value scholarships as well as valuable regional awards. For example, the first place prize is a $10,000 U.S. EE Savings Bond and the second place prize is a $5,000 U.S. EE Savings Bond. In addition to these overall prizes, regional prizes will also be awarded to the 24 regional categories. The regional prizes include a notebook computer for the winning school and special gifts for each of the regional winners.

There is no entry fee for this competition. It is a team event, and teams can be made up of 2, 3 or 4 students. Students on the team don’t have to be from the same school and they can also be from a homeschool. The entry deadline for this competition is January of each year, and you retain all the rights to your inventions.

While entries to the ExploraVision competition are due until January of next year, it is not too early to start working on your entries. A good way to prepare for this competition is to start exploring energy science fair projects. You can get ideas by looking at these science kits and seeing what kind of experiments you can do with them. Then expand on those ideas and design one of your own.

I am glad that homeschool kids are also encouraged to participate together with public schoolers. This can be an excellent opportunity for kids of different schooling background to work together as a team and come up with innovative ideas. Whoever the winnning team will be, i think its also a good idea to reward all the participants 🙂

Those are really great cash prizes, its a shame that this sort of thing doesnt happen more often because we know the industry could do with more interested indaviduals involved in it.

What’s more, i just sought to bring up that i am somewhat brand new to this blog. I have been writing for a while individually, but I made it a personal task to test out extra blogs such as this one.

So far I am actually enjoying the information you are writing about, I understand from experience how challenging it can be to encourage oneself to come up with concepts for their blog but you are genuinely delivering us some attention-grabbing articles, so well done!
