We chose to do a portable air conditioner science fair project because in many parts of the world heat strokes are a major problem and a plethora of people are unable to afford the expenses of a normal air conditioner. In addition, receiving a peaceful rest is a mammoth task in many countries now a days with the presence of constant load shedding.
How it works:-
In a normal a.c there is always a coolant and a machinery which provides us cool air, so the role of the coolant is played by the ice and the machinery is played by the fan. Kinetic energy is also used in the air conditioner. Batteries have three parts, an anode (-), a cathode (+), and the electrolyte. The cathode and anode are hooked up to an electrical circuit. The chemical reactions in the battery causes a build up of electrons at the anode. As you know thermapole sheet is a superior insulator thus it can trap heat and protect the ice from melting.
How can it benefit us:-
This portable air conditioner science fair project has numerous merits as it give you straight 3 and a half hour constant work of the battery, secondly it is portable, also recyclable, it is cost efficient as well, moreover it requires no maintenance at all.
